Zadig & Voltaire has signed a five-year exclusive swimwear license with Swiss-based Italian manufacturing firm Albisetti International SA. The collection will hit the brand’s e-shop in November and enter stores worldwide from April 2019. The line will feature core brand codes including military, lingerie and rock ‘n’ roll references.

Albisetti is a Swiss-based Italian manufacturing firm, run by brothers Alessandro and Tommaso Bianchi. In 2011, Albisetti bought Ittierre, the Italian manufacturing company that was part of IT Holding SpA group, after two years of government-backed bankruptcy protection. The Bianchis’ father, Antonio, was formerly head of Albisetti and Ittierre, which at one point produced the C’N’C Costume National, John Galliano, Ermanno Ermanno Scervino and Just Cavalli collections. The company holds innerwear and swimwear licenses for brands including Tom Ford, Carven and Alexander McQueen.
