Shine Bright in Rihanna's Diamonds This Summer

The singer is designing a jewelry collection with Chopard

Rihanna has successfully tackled ready-to-wear with Fenty x Puma, footwear with Manolo Blahnik, sunglasses with Dior, and even socks with Stance. Now, she's designing fine jewelry in a collaboration with Chopard launching this May at the Cannes Film Festival.

The "Rihanna Loves Chopard" collection takes inspiration from the gardens and Carnival celebrations of Barbados, Rihanna's native island. There are nine pieces she co-designed with Chopard creative director Caroline Scheufele, and they'll be super limited edition with only 2,000 of each design available.

Rihanna actually debuted one of her designs–floral chandelier earrings–at the Grammy's red carpet in February.

"Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections, so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity, and inherent sense of design in every piece," Scheufele said in a statement. "With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry."

Expect to see Rihanna hitting the Cannes red carpet in her jewels. Her film, Luc Besson's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, in which she co-stars with Cara Delevingne, may screen on opening night May 17.

The pieces, available for preorder now, start at $1460 for a simple rose gold ring, with several of the items only offering prices upon request.
