Rumor Alert! It Looks Like Kylie Jenner Is Launching A Swimwear Line!
/Kylie Jenner has always been a fan of showing off her latest swimsuits on Instagram, but it seems she may soon be creating her own. According to a recent application at the US Patent and Trademark Office, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed to trademark the names “Kylie Swim” and “Kylie Swim By Kylie Jenner.” The application explains that the brand would sell bikinis, cover-ups, footwear, and headwear, as well as swim accessories like sunglasses, swim goggles, floats, and towels.
Jenner launched her Kylie Cosmetics brand in 2015 with a selection of liquid lip colors and later other makeup products as well. She later expanded into skincare with the debut of Kylie Skin in 2019. While she has yet to unveil a fashion line of her own under her company, this would not be her first foray into the apparel industry. She and her sister Kendall Jenner began their clothing line Kendall + Kylie in 2012 which also includes swimwear.
While the reality star has yet to publicly announced any new business ventures, two weeks ago she deleted all photos from her Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account save for a single photo of herself in a pink bra and leggings. She wrote in the caption, "something is coming."
Fans have also noticed a recent Instagram account pop up called "Kylie Baby." Jenner previously submitted a trademark application for the name in 2019, along with "Kylie Body" and "Kylie Hair." It's unclear if the account actually belongs to the beauty mogul (no photos have been posted as of yet), but venturing into children's clothing is also well within her wheelhouse. She regularly styles her daughter Stormi Webster in an array of chic looks—even by adult standards—more often than not to match with her own outfits.
