SAGE LAROCK is proud to announce their most recent collaboration with SEA SHEPHERD to create swimwear out of the upcycled illegal fishing nets from their Coco’s Island Marine Reserve clean up campaign.

In collaboration with the Costa Rican Ministry of the Environment, and Isla del Coco National Park Rangers, Sea Shepherd’s newest vessel The M/V White Holly successfully loaded illegal fishing gear, marine debris, and waste from the precious Cocos Island World Heritage Site in Costa Rica.

Her 10 ton crane lifted 34 tons of illegal plastic shark nets and waste into her cargo hold and onto her decks, which was carried back to a mainland port & shipped to Aquafil/ECONYL to be made into fabric for our new swimwear collaboration. All pieces from this limited edition collaboration are ethically made in LA, and available at Sea Shepherd’s USA online store. Profits from this collaboration by SAGE LAROCK will be contributed to future Sea Shepherd campaigns to protect our oceans.
