2018 SWIM GALLERY – CURVY KATE
/Curvy Kate‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection features a slightly darker colour palette and new shapes in prints and colour blocks. “The main inspiration was Japanese painted pottery, the prints used this season evoke a feeling of artistry,” said Head Designer Charlotte Davies. “Cuts are continuing to become more daring, such as high necks and cut outs, while still offering the traditional Curvy Kate blocks.”
Some of the new, key shapes for SS18 are Ahoy, in a white and blue chevron pattern with cut out details and button accessories, Riptide, a blue and crisp white set off by blue straps with a white piping, and Maya, showcasing a red floral print with dark edging. Styles embrace the current cut out trend with a choice of balcony bikini, halter-neck swimsuit, bandeau bikini, high waist brief, fold over brief and more.
