Paraiso Miami Swim Week- Day Two Overview

On Friday June 9th, Paraiso Miami Swim Week kicked off their second day of runway shows and events. After an excellent first day, the tone was set for a great weekend. The day was kicked off by The Summer Fashion Summit’s second day which hosted many well known and accomplished personalities such as Jesse James Decker and Raphael Camp, the CEO of Comexposium US alongside the President of Curve. The summit covered topics ranging from Mastering Wholesale to Social Media and Brand Marketing to Networking.

After the summit had set the tone for an excellent day, many runway shows and events were on Friday’s horizon. With four runway shows on deck, and eleven events scheduled, attendees were in for a day of fun and swimwear. The events started at 11:00 AM EST, beginning with Swim Souk, which was open to the public to let off some steam and attend to, while shopping the pop up. Then, Bossa Summer House Concept hosted their pop-up, which was available to the public as well. As the pop-ups continued, Stitch Lab also hosted their own pop-up, which was located in the design district, and open to the public as well.

As attendees began to work up an appetite from all the pop up shopping, two brands hosted brunches. The first being Sun Bum, who hosted a VIP brunch, which was followed by a Goretty Medina and Stitch Lab collaboration brunch. Later in the afternoon, in the spirit of Miami, Florida, Rielli hosted a pop-up and pool party, which was then followed by Ganni’s cocktail event, located in the Miami Design District. Also within the Design District, Elle hosted their Boudoir Experience.

As attention began to direct towards the Paraiso Fashion Tent, the home of the Miami Swim Week Runway Shows, Istituto Marangoni, a well known fashion school located within Miami, hosted an Upcycle Challenge. The event questioned traditional fashion practices and encouraged more environmentally friendly practices within everyday fashion. Lastly, Frederic Pinet, hosted an exhibit titled Poolside.

As we begin to dive into the shows, day two of Paraiso Miami Swim Week’s Runway shows were kicked off by Kittenish’s 2023 runway show. The runway show consisted of many classic and timeless designs, while adding a sexy touch. The show brought a beautiful energy to the runway, as the models owned the runway perfectly.
